Injection Moulding

22 modern Injection moulding machines ranging from 15 to 650 TON can produce components from 1 gram up to 4 kg in weight. Materials processed include PP, PE, ABS, PA, PMMA, PPO, PBT, PC, PS, PVC, SAN, ASA, TPE, POM

With in-house tooling capabilities and support from local and OS toolmakers we can offer the following-

Sneddon & Kingston Plastics can completely manage your entire tooling project. We will handle design and build to ensure a mould
which is high quality, efficient and on time. We offer tooling made from high grade steels with optimized cooling and runner balancing. We do this through our program of tightly controlling the tool specification.

Design Engineering

Plastic component design

We can offer assistance in thermoplastic material selection and in creating a design to optimise manufacture. 3D Solid modeling software is utilised at all stages in the development of product and tooling. Consider us as an extension of your R&D department, an arm of your design group and a strategic sourcing partner. Mould flow process simulation is offered on all projects to optimise final part design and tooling design. Gate analysis and runner balancing, filling, packing and cooling analysis are also available.

Prototyping

We employ modern techniques for producing prototypes or validation samples directly from your CAD data.

Project Management

At SKP, we can take your program from the initial stages of concept to completion. This includes development of automation, assembly and packaging systems. Our engineering team provide quality design, development, and production solutions for customers.

Logistics & Warehousing

A technology boost in our recently completed warehouse facility employs wire guided forklifts for increased efficiency when picking orders. Stock is warehoused using ‘Random Location’ technology to minimise warehousing space. Barcoding ensures correct stock rotation.
